reminds me of the good ole days
Although I played the X series during its debut for SNES, I still bought Mega Man Xtreme for my GameBoy Color because well, I was and still am an advent Mega Man fan 15 years later and have everything that has to do with Mega Man and gaming haha.
I never really liked Morph Moth on X2, and I still didn't like him in Xtreme haha!

As for this song though it is a good variety and use of samples available as said by gasmasq, but there is a lot more you can do with garageband, the power is imense and if you unlock it you can do wonders haha.

You should start a career remixing video game songs, or make a pitch to titles like Capcom as a song writer for video games, because I really do think you would have great success!
This remix also inspired me to try out a remix of this.
I know it isn't nearly anywhere as good as this is, but I would be completely honored if you would check out what I do have and give any insight you'd be willing to give haha, and if you do check it out, its not finished as some key parts are still missing cause its under construction just fyi.
Again thank you for instilling such joy into the hearts of myself and many others with this fantastic mix of the greatest level in my opinion in Megaman X!

I really like this!
It has a really nice balance of background trance with some progression.
And for doing it in such a short time too, fantastic!
Other than what you say above with needing more effects and such, I'd say it is fine the way it is.
BUT, thinking about it, I think it would be really cool if there was maybe a segment where the tempo slowly picked up towards the end, and then slowed back down much faster for the ending, like dying batteries.

I feel like this could be the music during a scene in a movie where some sexy girls are dancing in the background or something. Diggin it man, only complaint is I feel like there should be a part where it just gets really heavy, and chills back out again. That would be the icing on the cake.

This song is pretty good, although I feel that there is a certain needed sharpness missing. At 0:33 the synth that jumps in should be a little more crisp I feel, and the transitions are a little weak, but other than those two factors its overall good!
